Save The Environment

During this aftermath of the oil crises people can start reflecting on how much dependent they are in using oil. People have been so dependent on oil that oil is being bought from other countries and like today we are having a war because of oil. I would definitely say that we should start trying to find other reassures other than oil because being dependent only in one thing can result in such bad ways because what if that one thing runs out what would we do? Also we have to find ways to keep the environment safe meaning we can start recycling more plastic, changing plastic bags in the super market for the environmental bags and also changing the light bulbs that use less energy in our homes. My Business

I am the owner of a very successful business that sells the best seafood in Louisana, I am just posting to say that at this moment my business hasnt been affected so far. I havent had the thought of buying extra seafood at the moment because I havent seen my resturant, and my business be affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. So far there has been just questions by the costumers asking if the seafood is fresh and not contaminated with the oil, i have told them that my seafood hasnt been contimanted with the oil because we check our seafood and still give them a extra cleaning right before we cook them. So again i havent had a problem with the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.. Well So Far..

We're All Involved..

In my community there are a lot of small businesses that have been closing during this oil shortage because they cant keep up with there payments. One big small business that closed in our community was a little super market that had great deals and also everything you'll find in a big super market you'll find it there without a doubt. So we started realizing that there were some changes going on in our community store because the prices were raising very high every week that went by, until one day it had a big sign saying that the store was closing between this week. So in result of that store closing most of the community had to find some other place to get there resources and there needs.

Where Does Our Food Come From?

Somethings I started realizing was that people have a hard time finding fruits and food in your local markets. The fruits that were missing was because a result of the oil outage the fruits are not coming in from the countries. That is also one thing i didnt know was that most of the supplies from the markets are supplies from other countries and states. I think that this really affects me and my family because we wouldnt want to travel atleast 150 miles for a gallon of milk or any other useful supplys

Disaster In The Sky

In Europe and in the United Kingdom the approximately flights cancelled were 4000 with air spaces closed in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark among others. The volcanic ash caused a big worries in peoples life because flights were cancelled and delayed and they still are being delayed. The estimated people that were delayed from there flights were about 600,000. Even some sports team like Barcelona had to make a trip to Italy and they couldn't go through plane so they had to take a bus because the planes were cancelled so the trip took them about 15 hours in the bus.

Demand And Supply

Demand is how people decide to waste there money also in what well they waste there money on meaning that they have the choice or decision on how to waste there money and on what kind of things they'll waste it on.

Supply is how much do you need of it and what price do you need to sale it on.

On the test we took on http://www.thatquiz.org/ it helped me learn a couple of things like the largest oil producers are Iran, US, Mexico, Norway and Venezuela, but in 2006 the products dropped for these countries.

Some improtant facts i learned from reading this article is that many things that i use on a daily bases uses oil. Something i learned were that a soccer ball has the use of oil during the process of creatiing it, and also shoes in the process of making them they have to use oil. I had never thought that shoes and a soccer ball had oil in them or oil had to be a process in creating them. A fact is that 180 million gallons are wasted in the United States of America. THATS A LOT!
